Financial Statements

Keep in mind that detailed financials will only be available for publicly traded, parent companies.

EDGAR
Public companies are required to file their financial statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission. EDGAR is their searchable database with company filings going back ten years.

1. Enter the company name or ticker symbol within the Company Search box.

2. After locating the company, select either Company Financials or Filings.

TIP: Mergent Online will allow you to download this information to Excel.

1. In the Get Company Info section on the right side of the screen, enter the company name or ticker symbol.

2. From the left menu under the heading Financials, select Overview or SEC Filings.
