Arab Maghreb Union. (AMU) Member states include the Northern African countries of Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, and Mauritania.

Economic Cooperation Organization. (ECO) Member states include Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. ECO is the successor organization of Regional Cooperation for Development (RCD).

Gulf Cooperation Council. (GCC) Member states include United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait.

Middle East Free Trade Area Initiative. The U.S. proposes a trade agreement for Middle Eastern nations to increase trade and investment with the United States and others.
