When to use the NMSU VPN

Many times, your NMSU username and password will work just fine for accessing resources from library databases, but if you are still having problems, please do the following:

  1. Using the instructions below, sign into the NMSU VPN for Library Database Access. 
  2. Send us an email or Library Chat and let us know what wasn't working for you so we can look into it.



Getting to the VPN for Library Database Access

Thanks to some hard work and cooperation between the Library's Systems Department and ICT, we now have the selection we need for database access back on the main NMSU VPN Group settings.

Click to connect from off campus.

It should now be sure easy for people off campus to access our online databases. It is no longer “NMSU-Full” it is now called “Lib Database Access” (See image below).


This VPN setting is only to be used by faculty, students, and staff who need off campus access to the library resources.
