For this assignment, you will need to search the library's resources to find 15 journal articles in specific journals. You will need to use the Ebsco databases to search most of the journals at once.
The journals that are not included are Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Sciences, The Counseling Psychologist, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, and Women & Therapy. You will need to search by the individual journal title on the tab to the left.
To begin, access this database:
An essential full-text database for psychologists, counselors, researchers and students. It provides hundreds of full-text psychology journals, including many indexed in APA PsycInfo. It offers particularly strong coverage in child and adolescent psychology and counseling.
Click on the highlighted database title. Select the following databases: APA PsycArticles, Sociology Source Ultimate
Enter in your search terms and include at least one of "schools" of counseling. Combine these terms with AND or OR.
Once you receive your results, click on "All Filters"
Once you select "All Filters", a column will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. Select "Publication".
From there, take your list of journals and select them from the list of publications.
Select those publications and click on "Apply". The results will be from only those journals.
