The Emerging Technologies Lab is an exciting new space in Branson Library that allows members of the NMSU community to try out a variety of different kinds of technology in a collaborative space. The Lab currently has 12 top of the line Alienware computers with 38" curved ultrawide monitors, a Meta Quest 2 VR headset, a 3D printer, a Theta Z1 360° camera, Arduino kits, and robotics kits. There is also space set aside as a general workspace for DIY projects. We are always looking for better ways to serve the NMSU community, so please let us know if you have a technology need that we are not currently serving.

Visit us on the first floor of Branson Library. We're located in Room 127, over by the DVDs and CDs. Take a left in the main hallway of the building and keep going past the computers and you should find us.

Take a look at our lab with 360º photos. Click and move the photo around to get a better view. There are five different views that give a small look at the Lab.

If you have any questions, please send your inquiry to lib-etl@elt.nmsu.edu.
