Latin American/Spanish/Chicano Linguistics and Literature

Resources for Spanish, Latin American, Chicano Linguistics & Literature

Finding Academic Journal Articles

Many of the Library’s Article Databases provide full-text journal articles and/or citations and abstracts on Latin American literature and linguistics. NOTE: If you are connecting to the internet from off-campus to use our subscription databases, you will be prompted to enter your NMSU userid and password so that your NMSU student/faculty/staff status can be validated.

The library has many electronic journal subscriptions available via our Electronic Journals page.  There will often be a link from the citation or abstract in one of the databases to a full text source. In the case where a journal is not available electronically, you can search for the journal in the Library Catalog; search the journal title to get the call number for the journal. If the Library does not have access to the journal, you can use the service.
